Betraying Trusts
আমানতের খিয়ানত
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ لَا تَخُونُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلرَّسُولَ وَتَخُونُوٓا۟ أَمَـٰنَـٰتِكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ
আরবি থেকে বাংলা উচ্চারণ (Transliteration): ইয়া আইয়ুহাল্লাযীনা আমানূ, লা তাখূনুল্লাহা ওয়ার রাসূলা ওয়া তাখূনূ আমানাতিকুম, ওয়া আনতুম তা‘লামূন। সূরা আল-আনফাল, আয়াত ২৭ (৮:২৭)
English
O you who have believed, do not betray Allāh and the Messenger or betray your trusts while you know [the consequence].
বাংলা
হে মু’মিনগণ! তোমরা জেনে বুঝে আল্লাহ ও তাঁর রসূলের সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করো না, আর যে বিষয়ে তোমরা আমানাত প্রাপ্ত হয়েছ তাতেও বিশ্বাস ভঙ্গ করো না।
Explanation
Do not betray Allah and the Messenger, nor betray your trusts knowingly. Money, secrets, positions and responsibilities are all trusts; give each its due.
