۞ إِلَيْهِ To Him يُرَدُّ is referred عِلْمُ (the) knowledge ٱلسَّاعَةِ ۚ (of) the Hour وَمَا And not تَخْرُجُ comes out مِن any ثَمَرَٰتٍۢ fruits مِّنْ from أَكْمَامِهَا their coverings وَمَا and not تَحْمِلُ bears مِنْ any أُنثَىٰ female وَلَا and not تَضَعُ gives birth إِلَّا except بِعِلْمِهِۦ ۚ with His knowledge وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day يُنَادِيهِمْ He will call them أَيْنَ Where (are) شُرَكَآءِى My partners قَالُوٓا۟ They will say ءَاذَنَّـٰكَ We announce (to) You مَا not مِنَّا among us مِن any شَهِيدٍۢ witness ٤٧

وَضَلَّ And lost عَنْهُم from them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they were يَدْعُونَ invoking مِن before قَبْلُ ۖ before وَظَنُّوا۟ and they (will) be certain مَا (that) not لَهُم for them مِّن any مَّحِيصٍۢ place of escape ٤٨

لَّا (Does) not يَسْـَٔمُ get tired ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ man مِن of دُعَآءِ praying ٱلْخَيْرِ (for) the good وَإِن but if مَّسَّهُ touches him ٱلشَّرُّ the evil فَيَـُٔوسٌۭ then he gives up hope قَنُوطٌۭ (and) despairs ٤٩

وَلَئِنْ And verily, if أَذَقْنَـٰهُ We let him taste رَحْمَةًۭ mercy مِّنَّا from Us مِنۢ after بَعْدِ after ضَرَّآءَ an adversity مَسَّتْهُ (has) touched him لَيَقُولَنَّ he will surely say هَـٰذَا This (is) لِى (due) to me وَمَآ and not أَظُنُّ I think ٱلسَّاعَةَ the Hour قَآئِمَةًۭ (will be) established وَلَئِن and if رُّجِعْتُ I am returned إِلَىٰ to رَبِّىٓ my Lord إِنَّ indeed لِى for me عِندَهُۥ with Him لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ (will be) the best فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ But We will surely inform ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved بِمَا about what عَمِلُوا۟ they did وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم and We will surely make them taste مِّنْ of عَذَابٍ a punishment غَلِيظٍۢ severe ٥٠

وَإِذَآ And when أَنْعَمْنَا We bestow favor عَلَى upon ٱلْإِنسَـٰنِ man أَعْرَضَ he turns away وَنَـَٔا and distances himself بِجَانِبِهِۦ and distances himself وَإِذَا but when مَسَّهُ touches him ٱلشَّرُّ the evil فَذُو then (he is) full دُعَآءٍ (of) supplication عَرِيضٍۢ lengthy ٥١

قُلْ Say أَرَءَيْتُمْ You see إِن if كَانَ it is مِنْ from عِندِ from ٱللَّهِ Allah ثُمَّ then كَفَرْتُم you disbelieve بِهِۦ in it مَنْ who أَضَلُّ (is) more astray مِمَّنْ than (one) who هُوَ he فِى (is) in شِقَاقٍۭ opposition بَعِيدٍۢ far ٥٢

سَنُرِيهِمْ Soon We will show them ءَايَـٰتِنَا Our Signs فِى in ٱلْـَٔافَاقِ the horizons وَفِىٓ and in أَنفُسِهِمْ themselves حَتَّىٰ until يَتَبَيَّنَ becomes clear لَهُمْ to them أَنَّهُ that it ٱلْحَقُّ ۗ (is) the truth أَوَلَمْ Is (it) not يَكْفِ sufficient بِرَبِّكَ concerning your Lord أَنَّهُۥ that He عَلَىٰ (is) over كُلِّ all شَىْءٍۢ things شَهِيدٌ a Witness ٥٣

أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّهُمْ they فِى (are) in مِرْيَةٍۢ doubt مِّن about لِّقَآءِ (the) meeting رَبِّهِمْ ۗ (with) their Lord أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّهُۥ indeed, He بِكُلِّ (is) of all شَىْءٍۢ things مُّحِيطٌۢ encompassing ٥٤

حمٓ Ha Meem ١

عٓسٓقٓ Ayn Seen Qaaf ٢

كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُوحِىٓ reveals إِلَيْكَ to you وَإِلَى and to ٱلَّذِينَ those مِن before you قَبْلِكَ before you ٱللَّهُ Allah ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise ٣

لَهُۥ To Him مَا (belong) whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ the earth وَهُوَ and He ٱلْعَلِىُّ (is) the Most High ٱلْعَظِيمُ the Most Great ٤

تَكَادُ Almost ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتُ the heavens يَتَفَطَّرْنَ break up مِن from فَوْقِهِنَّ ۚ above them وَٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ and the Angels يُسَبِّحُونَ glorify بِحَمْدِ (the) praise رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَ and ask for forgiveness لِمَن for those فِى on ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ the earth أَلَآ Unquestionably إِنَّ indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah هُوَ He ٱلْغَفُورُ (is) the Oft-Forgiving ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful ٥

وَٱلَّذِينَ And those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ take مِن besides دُونِهِۦٓ besides أَوْلِيَآءَ protectors ٱللَّهُ Allah حَفِيظٌ (is) a Guardian عَلَيْهِمْ over them وَمَآ and not أَنتَ you عَلَيْهِم (are) over them بِوَكِيلٍۢ a manager ٦

وَكَذَٰلِكَ And thus أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you قُرْءَانًا a Quran عَرَبِيًّۭا (in) Arabic لِّتُنذِرَ that you may warn أُمَّ (the) mother ٱلْقُرَىٰ (of) the towns وَمَنْ and whoever حَوْلَهَا (is) around it وَتُنذِرَ and warn يَوْمَ (of the) Day ٱلْجَمْعِ (of) Assembly لَا (there is) no رَيْبَ doubt فِيهِ ۚ in it فَرِيقٌۭ A party فِى (will be) in ٱلْجَنَّةِ Paradise وَفَرِيقٌۭ and a party فِى in ٱلسَّعِيرِ the Blazing Fire ٧

وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ Allah willed ٱللَّهُ Allah willed لَجَعَلَهُمْ He could have made them أُمَّةًۭ a community وَٰحِدَةًۭ one وَلَـٰكِن but يُدْخِلُ He admits مَن whom يَشَآءُ He wills فِى in (to) رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ His Mercy وَٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ And the wrongdoers مَا not لَهُم for them مِّن any وَلِىٍّۢ protector وَلَا and not نَصِيرٍ any helper ٨

أَمِ Or ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ have they taken مِن besides Him دُونِهِۦٓ besides Him أَوْلِيَآءَ ۖ protectors فَٱللَّهُ But Allah هُوَ He ٱلْوَلِىُّ (is) the Protector وَهُوَ and He يُحْىِ gives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ (to) the dead وَهُوَ And He عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍۢ thing قَدِيرٌۭ All-Powerful ٩

وَمَا And whatever ٱخْتَلَفْتُمْ you differ فِيهِ in it مِن of شَىْءٍۢ a thing فَحُكْمُهُۥٓ then its ruling إِلَى (is) to ٱللَّهِ ۚ Allah ذَٰلِكُمُ That ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah رَبِّى my Lord عَلَيْهِ upon Him تَوَكَّلْتُ I put my trust وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him أُنِيبُ I turn ١٠

فَاطِرُ (The) Creator ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ and the earth جَعَلَ He made لَكُم for you مِّنْ from أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَزْوَٰجًۭا mates وَمِنَ and among ٱلْأَنْعَـٰمِ the cattle أَزْوَٰجًۭا ۖ mates يَذْرَؤُكُمْ He multiplies you فِيهِ ۚ thereby لَيْسَ (There) is not كَمِثْلِهِۦ like Him شَىْءٌۭ ۖ anything وَهُوَ and He ٱلسَّمِيعُ (is) the All-Hearer ٱلْبَصِيرُ the All-Seer ١١

لَهُۥ To Him (belongs) مَقَالِيدُ (the) keys ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ and the earth يَبْسُطُ He extends ٱلرِّزْقَ the provision لِمَن for whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ and restricts إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He بِكُلِّ of every شَىْءٍ thing عَلِيمٌۭ (is) All-Knower ١٢
