Arrogance and Boastful Walking
অহংকার ও দম্ভভরে চলা
وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مَرَحًا ۖ إِنَّكَ لَن تَخْرِقَ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَلَن تَبْلُغَ ٱلْجِبَالَ طُولًا
আরবি থেকে বাংলা উচ্চারণ (Transliteration): ওয়ালা তামশি ফিল আরদি মারাহা। ইন্নাকা লান তাখরিকাল আরদা ওয়ালান তাবলুগাল জিবালা তূলা। সূরা আল-ইসরা, আয়াত ৩৭ (১৭:৩৭)
English
And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height.
বাংলা
যমীনে গর্বভরে চলাফেরা করো না, তুমি কক্ষনো যমীনকে বিদীর্ণ করতে পারবে না, আর উচ্চতায় পর্বতের ন্যায় হতেও পারবে না।
Explanation
Do not walk the earth with insolence; you can never split the earth or match the mountains in height. Allah does not love the arrogant and boastful. Walk with humility and moderation.
