চুরি
وَٱلسَّارِقُ وَٱلسَّارِقَةُ فَٱقْطَعُوٓا۟ أَيْدِيَهُمَا جَزَآءًۢ بِمَا كَسَبَا نَكَـٰلًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ
বাংলা উচ্চারণ (Transliteration): ওয়াস্-সারিকু ওয়াস্-সারিকাতু ফাক্বতা‘ঊ আইদিয়াহুমা জাযা-আম বিমা কাসাবা নাকালাম মিনাল্লাহি, ওয়াল্লাহু ‘আযীযুন হাকীম। সূরা আল-মায়িদা, আয়াত ৩৮ (৫:৩৮)
English
[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they earned [i.e., committed] as a deterrent [punishment] from Allāh. And Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.

আর চোর ও চোরনী তাদের হাত কেটে দাও, তাদের কৃতকর্মের ফল স্বরূপ, আল্লাহর পক্ষ থেকে দৃষ্টান্তমূলক শাস্তি। আল্লাহ হলেন মহাপরাক্রান্ত, মহাবিজ্ঞানী।

Explanation
Theft carries a prescribed punishment as a recompense and a deterrent, and the door of repentance and reform stays open. Respect other people’s property; if you have taken anything, return it and repent.
