فَلَمَّا Then when جَآءَتْهُمْ came to them رُسُلُهُم their Messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ with clear proofs فَرِحُوا۟ they rejoiced بِمَا in what عِندَهُم they had مِّنَ of ٱلْعِلْمِ the knowledge وَحَاقَ and enveloped بِهِم them مَّا what كَانُوا۟ they used to بِهِۦ [at it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ mock ٨٣
And when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they [merely] rejoiced in what they had of knowledge, but they were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
