لَّيْسَ Not is عَلَى on ٱلْأَعْمَىٰ the blind حَرَجٌۭ any blame وَلَا and not عَلَى on ٱلْأَعْرَجِ the lame حَرَجٌۭ any blame وَلَا and not عَلَى on ٱلْمَرِيضِ the sick حَرَجٌۭ any blame وَلَا and not عَلَىٰٓ on أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَن that تَأْكُلُوا۟ you eat مِنۢ from بُيُوتِكُمْ your houses أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses ءَابَآئِكُمْ (of) your fathers أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses أُمَّهَـٰتِكُمْ (of) your mothers أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses إِخْوَٰنِكُمْ (of) your brothers أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses أَخَوَٰتِكُمْ (of) your sisters أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses أَعْمَـٰمِكُمْ (of) your paternal uncles أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses عَمَّـٰتِكُمْ (of) your paternal aunts أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses أَخْوَٰلِكُمْ (of) your maternal uncles أَوْ or بُيُوتِ houses خَـٰلَـٰتِكُمْ (of) your maternal aunts أَوْ or مَا what مَلَكْتُم you possess مَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓ its keys أَوْ or صَدِيقِكُمْ ۚ your friend لَيْسَ Not is عَلَيْكُمْ on you جُنَاحٌ any blame أَن that تَأْكُلُوا۟ you eat جَمِيعًا together أَوْ or أَشْتَاتًۭا ۚ separately فَإِذَا But when دَخَلْتُم you enter بُيُوتًۭا houses فَسَلِّمُوا۟ then greet عَلَىٰٓ [on] أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves تَحِيَّةًۭ a greeting مِّنْ from عِندِ from ٱللَّهِ Allah مُبَـٰرَكَةًۭ blessed طَيِّبَةًۭ ۚ (and) good كَذَٰلِكَ Thus يُبَيِّنُ Allah makes clear ٱللَّهُ Allah makes clear لَكُمُ for you ٱلْـَٔايَـٰتِ the Verses لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand ٦١
There is not upon the blind [any] constraint nor upon the lame constraint nor upon the ill constraint nor upon yourselves when you eat from your [own] houses or the houses of your fathers or the houses of your mothers or the houses of your brothers or the houses of your sisters or the houses of your father's brothers or the houses of your father's sisters or the houses of your mother's brothers or the houses of your mother's sisters or [from houses] whose keys you possess or [from the house] of your friend. There is no blame upon you whether you eat together or separately. But when you enter houses, give greetings of peace upon each other - a greeting from Allāh, blessed and good. Thus does Allāh make clear to you the verses [of ordinance] that you may understand.
