وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُ And postmenopausal مِنَ among ٱلنِّسَآءِ the women ٱلَّـٰتِى who لَا (do) not يَرْجُونَ have desire نِكَاحًۭا (for) marriage فَلَيْسَ then not is عَلَيْهِنَّ on them جُنَاحٌ any blame أَن that يَضَعْنَ they put aside ثِيَابَهُنَّ their (outer) garments غَيْرَ not مُتَبَرِّجَـٰتٍۭ displaying بِزِينَةٍۢ ۖ their adornment وَأَن And that يَسْتَعْفِفْنَ they modestly refrain خَيْرٌۭ (is) better لَّهُنَّ ۗ for them وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer عَلِيمٌۭ All-Knower ٦٠
And women of post-menstrual age who have no desire for marriage - there is no blame upon them for putting aside their outer garments [but] not displaying adornment. But to modestly refrain [from that] is better for them. And Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
