قُلْ Say جَآءَ Has come ٱلْحَقُّ the truth وَمَا and not يُبْدِئُ (can) originate ٱلْبَـٰطِلُ the falsehood وَمَا and not يُعِيدُ repeat ٤٩
Say, "The truth has come, and falsehood can neither begin [anything] nor repeat [it]."
— Come To Light
قُلْ Say إِن If ضَلَلْتُ I err فَإِنَّمَآ then only أَضِلُّ I will err عَلَىٰ against نَفْسِى ۖ myself وَإِنِ But if ٱهْتَدَيْتُ I am guided فَبِمَا then it is by what يُوحِىٓ reveals إِلَىَّ to me رَبِّىٓ ۚ my Lord إِنَّهُۥ Indeed, He سَمِيعٌۭ (is) All-Hearer قَرِيبٌۭ Ever-Near ٥٠
Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near."
— Come To Light
وَلَوْ And if تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see إِذْ when فَزِعُوا۟ they will be terrified فَلَا but (there will be) no فَوْتَ escape وَأُخِذُوا۟ and they will be seized مِن from مَّكَانٍۢ a place قَرِيبٍۢ near ٥١
And if you could see when they are terrified but there is no escape, and they will be seized from a place nearby.
— Come To Light
وَقَالُوٓا۟ And they will say ءَامَنَّا We believe بِهِۦ in it وَأَنَّىٰ But how لَهُمُ for them ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ (will be) the receiving مِن from مَّكَانٍۭ a place بَعِيدٍۢ far off ٥٢
And they will [then] say, "We believe in it!" But how for them will be the taking [of faith] from a place far away?
— Come To Light
وَقَدْ And certainly كَفَرُوا۟ they disbelieved بِهِۦ in it مِن before قَبْلُ ۖ before وَيَقْذِفُونَ And they utter conjectures بِٱلْغَيْبِ about the unseen مِن from مَّكَانٍۭ a place بَعِيدٍۢ far off ٥٣
And they had already disbelieved in it before and would assault the unseen from a place far away.
— Come To Light
وَحِيلَ And a barrier will be placed بَيْنَهُمْ between them وَبَيْنَ and between مَا what يَشْتَهُونَ they desire كَمَا as فُعِلَ was done بِأَشْيَاعِهِم with their kind مِّن before قَبْلُ ۚ before إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ were فِى in شَكٍّۢ doubt مُّرِيبٍۭ disquieting ٥٤
And prevention will be placed between them and what they desire, as was done with their kind before. Indeed, they were in disquieting doubt [i.e., denial].

35. Surah Fatir
Originator · Makki · 45 Ayahs
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ٱلْحَمْدُ All praises لِلَّهِ (be) to Allah فَاطِرِ Originator ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth جَاعِلِ (Who) makes ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ the Angels رُسُلًا messengers أُو۟لِىٓ having wings أَجْنِحَةٍۢ having wings مَّثْنَىٰ two وَثُلَـٰثَ or three وَرُبَـٰعَ ۚ or four يَزِيدُ He increases فِى in ٱلْخَلْقِ the creation مَا what يَشَآءُ ۚ He wills إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَلَىٰ (is) on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍۢ thing قَدِيرٌۭ All-Powerful ١
[All] praise is [due] to Allāh, Creator of the heavens and the earth, [who] made the angels messengers having wings, two or three or four. He increases in creation what He wills. Indeed, Allāh is over all things competent.
— Come To Light
مَّا What يَفْتَحِ Allah grants ٱللَّهُ Allah grants لِلنَّاسِ to mankind مِن of رَّحْمَةٍۢ Mercy فَلَا then none مُمْسِكَ (can) withhold لَهَا ۖ it وَمَا And what يُمْسِكْ He withholds فَلَا then none مُرْسِلَ (can) release لَهُۥ it مِنۢ thereafter بَعْدِهِۦ ۚ thereafter وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise ٢
Whatever Allāh grants to people of mercy - none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds - none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
— Come To Light
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلنَّاسُ mankind ٱذْكُرُوا۟ Remember نِعْمَتَ (the) Favor ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah عَلَيْكُمْ ۚ upon you هَلْ Is مِنْ (there) any خَـٰلِقٍ creator غَيْرُ other (than) Allah ٱللَّهِ other (than) Allah يَرْزُقُكُم who provides for you مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ and the earth لَآ (There is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ ۖ He فَأَنَّىٰ Then, how تُؤْفَكُونَ (are) you deluded ٣
O mankind, remember the favor of Allāh upon you. Is there any creator other than Allāh who provides for you from the heaven and earth? There is no deity except Him, so how are you deluded?
