وَلَوْ And if شَآءَ your Lord (had) willed رَبُّكَ your Lord (had) willed لَجَعَلَ surely He (could) have made ٱلنَّاسَ the mankind أُمَّةًۭ one community وَٰحِدَةًۭ ۖ one community وَلَا but not يَزَالُونَ they will cease مُخْتَلِفِينَ to differ ١١٨
And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ,
— Come To Light
إِلَّا Except مَن (on) whom رَّحِمَ your Lord has bestowed Mercy رَبُّكَ ۚ your Lord has bestowed Mercy وَلِذَٰلِكَ and for that خَلَقَهُمْ ۗ He created them وَتَمَّتْ And will be fulfilled كَلِمَةُ (the) Word of your Lord رَبِّكَ (the) Word of your Lord لَأَمْلَأَنَّ Surely I will fill جَهَنَّمَ Hell مِنَ with ٱلْجِنَّةِ the Jinn وَٱلنَّاسِ and the men أَجْمَعِينَ all together ١١٩
Except whom your Lord has given mercy, and for that He created them. But the word of your Lord is to be fulfilled that, "I will surely fill Hell with jinn and men all together."
— Come To Light
وَكُلًّۭا And each نَّقُصُّ We relate عَلَيْكَ to you مِنْ of أَنۢبَآءِ (the) news ٱلرُّسُلِ (of) the Messengers مَا (for) that نُثَبِّتُ We may make firm بِهِۦ with it فُؤَادَكَ ۚ your heart وَجَآءَكَ And has come to you فِى in هَـٰذِهِ this ٱلْحَقُّ the truth وَمَوْعِظَةٌۭ and an admonition وَذِكْرَىٰ and a reminder لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ for the believers ١٢٠
And each [story] We relate to you from the news of the messengers is that by which We make firm your heart. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers.
— Come To Light
وَقُل And say لِّلَّذِينَ to those who لَا (do) not يُؤْمِنُونَ believe ٱعْمَلُوا۟ Work عَلَىٰ (according) to مَكَانَتِكُمْ your position إِنَّا indeed, we عَـٰمِلُونَ (are also) working ١٢١
And say to those who do not believe, "Work according to your position; indeed, we are working.
— Come To Light
وَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ And wait إِنَّا indeed, we مُنتَظِرُونَ (are) ones who wait ١٢٢
And wait; indeed, we are waiting."
— Come To Light
وَلِلَّهِ And for Allah غَيْبُ (is the) unseen ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him يُرْجَعُ will be returned ٱلْأَمْرُ the matter كُلُّهُۥ all (of) it فَٱعْبُدْهُ so worship Him وَتَوَكَّلْ and put your trust عَلَيْهِ ۚ upon Him وَمَا And your Lord is not رَبُّكَ And your Lord is not بِغَـٰفِلٍ unaware عَمَّا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do ١٢٣
And to Allāh belong the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth and to Him will be returned the matter, all of it, so worship Him and rely upon Him. And your Lord is not unaware of that which you do.

Joseph · Makki · 111 Ayahs
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
الٓر ۚ Alif Laam Ra تِلْكَ These ءَايَـٰتُ (are the) Verses ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ (of) the Book ٱلْمُبِينِ [the] clear ١
Alif, Lām, Rā. These are the verses of the clear Book.
— Come To Light
إِنَّآ Indeed, We أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ We have sent it down قُرْءَٰنًا (as) a Quran in Arabic عَرَبِيًّۭا (as) a Quran in Arabic لَّعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تَعْقِلُونَ understand ٢
Indeed, We have sent it down as an Arabic Qur’ān that you might understand.
— Come To Light
نَحْنُ We نَقُصُّ relate عَلَيْكَ to you أَحْسَنَ the best ٱلْقَصَصِ of the narrations بِمَآ in what أَوْحَيْنَآ We have revealed إِلَيْكَ to you هَـٰذَا (of) this ٱلْقُرْءَانَ the Quran وَإِن although كُنتَ you were مِن before it قَبْلِهِۦ before it لَمِنَ surely among ٱلْغَـٰفِلِينَ the unaware ٣
We relate to you, [O Muḥammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Qur’ān although you were, before it, among the unaware.
— Come To Light
إِذْ When قَالَ said يُوسُفُ Yusuf لِأَبِيهِ to his father يَـٰٓأَبَتِ O my father إِنِّى Indeed, I رَأَيْتُ I saw أَحَدَ eleven عَشَرَ eleven كَوْكَبًۭا stars وَٱلشَّمْسَ and the sun وَٱلْقَمَرَ and the moon رَأَيْتُهُمْ I saw them لِى to me سَـٰجِدِينَ prostrating ٤
[Of these stories mention] when Joseph said to his father, "O my father, indeed I have seen [in a dream] eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I saw them prostrating to me."
