وَأَطِيعُوا۟ And obey ٱللَّهَ Allah وَرَسُولَهُۥ and His Messenger وَلَا and (do) not تَنَـٰزَعُوا۟ dispute فَتَفْشَلُوا۟ lest you lose courage وَتَذْهَبَ and (would) depart رِيحُكُمْ ۖ your strength وَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ ۚ and be patient إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah مَعَ (is) with ٱلصَّـٰبِرِينَ the patient ones ٤٦
And obey Allāh and His Messenger, and do not dispute and [thus] lose courage and [then] your strength would depart; and be patient. Indeed, Allāh is with the patient.
— Come To Light
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who خَرَجُوا۟ came forth مِن from دِيَـٰرِهِم their homes بَطَرًۭا boastfully وَرِئَآءَ and showing off ٱلنَّاسِ (to) the people وَيَصُدُّونَ and hinder (them) عَن from سَبِيلِ (the) way ٱللَّهِ ۚ (of) Allah وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what يَعْمَلُونَ they do مُحِيطٌۭ (is) All-Encompassing ٤٧
And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allāh. And Allāh is encompassing of what they do.
— Come To Light
وَإِذْ And when زَيَّنَ made fair-seeming لَهُمُ to them ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنُ the Shaitaan أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ their deeds وَقَالَ and he said لَا No (one) غَالِبَ (can) overcome لَكُمُ [to] you ٱلْيَوْمَ today مِنَ from ٱلنَّاسِ the people وَإِنِّى and indeed, I am جَارٌۭ a neighbor لَّكُمْ ۖ for you فَلَمَّا But when تَرَآءَتِ came in sight ٱلْفِئَتَانِ the two forces نَكَصَ he turned away عَلَىٰ on عَقِبَيْهِ his heels وَقَالَ and said إِنِّى Indeed, I am بَرِىٓءٌۭ free مِّنكُمْ of you إِنِّىٓ Indeed, I أَرَىٰ see مَا what لَا not تَرَوْنَ you see إِنِّىٓ indeed, I أَخَافُ [I] fear ٱللَّهَ ۚ Allah وَٱللَّهُ And Allah شَدِيدُ (is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the penalty ٤٨
And [remember] when Satan made their deeds pleasing to them and said, "No one can overcome you today from among the people, and indeed, I am your protector." But when the two armies sighted each other, he turned on his heels and said, "Indeed, I am disassociated from you. Indeed, I see what you do not see; indeed, I fear Allāh. And Allāh is severe in penalty."

إِذْ When يَقُولُ said ٱلْمُنَـٰفِقُونَ the hypocrites وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who فِى in قُلُوبِهِم their hearts مَّرَضٌ (was) a disease غَرَّ (Had) deluded هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ these (people) دِينُهُمْ ۗ their religion وَمَن But whoever يَتَوَكَّلْ puts (his) trust عَلَى in ٱللَّهِ Allah فَإِنَّ then indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty حَكِيمٌۭ All-Wise ٤٩
[Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease [i.e., arrogance and disbelief] said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allāh - then indeed, Allāh is Exalted in Might and Wise.
— Come To Light
وَلَوْ And if تَرَىٰٓ you (could) see إِذْ when يَتَوَفَّى take away souls ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ ۙ disbelieve ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ the Angels يَضْرِبُونَ striking وُجُوهَهُمْ their faces وَأَدْبَـٰرَهُمْ and their backs وَذُوقُوا۟ Taste عَذَابَ (the) punishment ٱلْحَرِيقِ (of) the Blazing Fire ٥٠
And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.
— Come To Light
ذَٰلِكَ That بِمَا (is) for what قَدَّمَتْ sent forth أَيْدِيكُمْ your hands وَأَنَّ And indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah لَيْسَ (is) not بِظَلَّـٰمٍۢ unjust لِّلْعَبِيدِ to His slaves ٥١
That is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because Allāh is not ever unjust to [His] servants."
— Come To Light
كَدَأْبِ Like (the) way ءَالِ (of) people فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ (of) Firaun وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who مِن (were) from قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ before them كَفَرُوا۟ They disbelieved بِـَٔايَـٰتِ in (the) Signs ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah فَأَخَذَهُمُ so seized them ٱللَّهُ Allah بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ for their sins إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah قَوِىٌّۭ (is) All-Strong شَدِيدُ (and) severe ٱلْعِقَابِ (in) the penalty ٥٢
[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allāh, so Allāh seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allāh is Powerful and severe in penalty.
