فَإِمَّا So if تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ you gain dominance over them فِى in ٱلْحَرْبِ the war فَشَرِّدْ disperse بِهِم by them مَّنْ (those) who خَلْفَهُمْ (are) behind them لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَذَّكَّرُونَ take heed ٥٧
So if you, [O Muḥammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded.
