۞ وَٱكْتُبْ And ordain لَنَا for us فِى in هَـٰذِهِ this ٱلدُّنْيَا [the] world حَسَنَةًۭ good وَفِى and in ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ the Hereafter إِنَّا Indeed, we هُدْنَآ we have turned إِلَيْكَ ۚ to You قَالَ He said عَذَابِىٓ My punishment أُصِيبُ I afflict بِهِۦ with it مَنْ whom أَشَآءُ ۖ I will وَرَحْمَتِى but My Mercy وَسِعَتْ encompasses كُلَّ every شَىْءٍۢ ۚ thing فَسَأَكْتُبُهَا So I will ordain it لِلَّذِينَ for those who يَتَّقُونَ (are) righteous وَيُؤْتُونَ and give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ zakah وَٱلَّذِينَ and those who هُم [they] بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا in Our Verses يُؤْمِنُونَ they believe ١٥٦
And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You." [Allāh] said, "My punishment - I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things." So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakāh and those who believe in Our verses-
— Come To Light
