ٱلَّذِىٓ Which أَنقَضَ weighed upon ظَهْرَكَ your back ٣
Which had weighed upon your back
— Come To Light
وَرَفَعْنَا And We raised high لَكَ for you ذِكْرَكَ your reputation ٤
And raised high for you your repute.
— Come To Light
فَإِنَّ So indeed مَعَ with ٱلْعُسْرِ the hardship يُسْرًا (is) ease ٥
For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease [i.e., relief].
— Come To Light
إِنَّ Indeed مَعَ with ٱلْعُسْرِ the hardship يُسْرًۭا (is) ease ٦
Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.
— Come To Light
فَإِذَا So when فَرَغْتَ you have finished فَٱنصَبْ then labor hard ٧
So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].
— Come To Light
وَإِلَىٰ And to رَبِّكَ your Lord فَٱرْغَب turn your attention ٨
And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
— Come To Light
95. Surah At-Tin
The Fig · Makki · 8 Ayahs
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَٱلتِّينِ By the fig وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ and the olive ١
By the fig and the olive
— Come To Light
وَطُورِ And (the) Mount سِينِينَ Sinai ٢
And [by] Mount Sinai
— Come To Light
وَهَـٰذَا And this ٱلْبَلَدِ [the] city ٱلْأَمِينِ [the] secure ٣
And [by] this secure city [i.e., Makkah],
— Come To Light
لَقَدْ Indeed خَلَقْنَا We created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ man فِىٓ in أَحْسَنِ (the) best تَقْوِيمٍۢ mould ٤
We have certainly created man in the best of stature;
— Come To Light
ثُمَّ Then رَدَدْنَـٰهُ We returned him أَسْفَلَ (to the) lowest سَـٰفِلِينَ (of the) low ٥
Then We return him to the lowest of the low,
— Come To Light
إِلَّا Except ٱلَّذِينَ those who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe وَعَمِلُوا۟ and do ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ righteous deeds فَلَهُمْ then for them أَجْرٌ (is a) reward غَيْرُ never مَمْنُونٍۢ ending ٦
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.
— Come To Light
فَمَا Then what يُكَذِّبُكَ causes you to deny بَعْدُ after (this) بِٱلدِّينِ the judgment ٧
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?
— Come To Light
أَلَيْسَ Is not ٱللَّهُ Allah بِأَحْكَمِ (the) Most Just ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ (of) the Judges ٨
Is not Allāh the most just of judges?
— Come To Light
96. Surah Al-'Alaq
The Clot · Makki · 19 Ayahs
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ
ٱقْرَأْ Read بِٱسْمِ in (the) name رَبِّكَ (of) your Lord ٱلَّذِى the One Who خَلَقَ created ١
Recite in the name of your Lord who created
— Come To Light
خَلَقَ He created ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ man مِنْ from عَلَقٍ a clinging substance ٢
Created man from a clinging substance.
— Come To Light
ٱقْرَأْ Read وَرَبُّكَ and your Lord ٱلْأَكْرَمُ (is) the Most Generous ٣
Recite, and your Lord is the most Generous -
— Come To Light
ٱلَّذِى The One Who عَلَّمَ taught بِٱلْقَلَمِ by the pen ٤
Who taught by the pen
— Come To Light
عَلَّمَ Taught ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ man مَا what لَمْ not يَعْلَمْ he knew ٥
Taught man that which he knew not.
— Come To Light
كَلَّآ Nay إِنَّ Indeed ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ man لَيَطْغَىٰٓ surely transgresses ٦
No! [But] indeed, man transgresses
— Come To Light
