۞ وَإِن And if كُنتُمْ you are عَلَىٰ on سَفَرٍۢ a journey وَلَمْ and not تَجِدُوا۟ you find كَاتِبًۭا a scribe فَرِهَـٰنٌۭ then pledge مَّقْبُوضَةٌۭ ۖ in hand فَإِنْ Then if أَمِنَ entrusts بَعْضُكُم one of you بَعْضًۭا (to) another فَلْيُؤَدِّ then let discharge ٱلَّذِى the one who ٱؤْتُمِنَ is entrusted أَمَـٰنَتَهُۥ his trust وَلْيَتَّقِ And let him fear ٱللَّهَ Allah رَبَّهُۥ ۗ his Lord وَلَا And (do) not تَكْتُمُوا۟ conceal ٱلشَّهَـٰدَةَ ۚ the evidence وَمَن And whoever يَكْتُمْهَا conceals it فَإِنَّهُۥٓ then indeed he ءَاثِمٌۭ (is) sinful قَلْبُهُۥ ۗ his heart وَٱللَّهُ And Allah بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do عَلِيمٌۭ (is) All-Knower ٢٨٣

لِّلَّهِ To Allah (belongs) مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَمَا and whatever فِى (is) in ٱلْأَرْضِ ۗ the earth وَإِن And if تُبْدُوا۟ you disclose مَا what فِىٓ (is) in أَنفُسِكُمْ yourselves أَوْ or تُخْفُوهُ you conceal it يُحَاسِبْكُم will call you to account بِهِ for it ٱللَّهُ ۖ Allah فَيَغْفِرُ Then, He will forgive لِمَن [to] whom يَشَآءُ He wills وَيُعَذِّبُ and He will punish مَن whom يَشَآءُ ۗ He wills وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عَلَىٰ on كُلِّ every شَىْءٍۢ thing قَدِيرٌ (is) All-Powerful ٢٨٤

ءَامَنَ Believed ٱلرَّسُولُ the Messenger بِمَآ in what أُنزِلَ was revealed إِلَيْهِ to him مِن from رَّبِّهِۦ his Lord وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَ ۚ and the believers كُلٌّ All ءَامَنَ believed بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ and His Angels وَكُتُبِهِۦ and His Books وَرُسُلِهِۦ and His Messengers لَا Not نُفَرِّقُ we make distinction بَيْنَ between أَحَدٍۢ any مِّن of رُّسُلِهِۦ ۚ His messengers وَقَالُوا۟ And they said سَمِعْنَا We heard وَأَطَعْنَا ۖ and we obeyed غُفْرَانَكَ (Grant) us Your forgiveness رَبَّنَا our Lord وَإِلَيْكَ and to You ٱلْمَصِيرُ (is) the return ٢٨٥

لَا (Does) not يُكَلِّفُ burden ٱللَّهُ Allah نَفْسًا any soul إِلَّا except وُسْعَهَا ۚ its capacity لَهَا for it مَا what كَسَبَتْ it earned وَعَلَيْهَا and against it مَا what ٱكْتَسَبَتْ ۗ it earned رَبَّنَا Our Lord لَا (Do) not تُؤَاخِذْنَآ take us to task إِن if نَّسِينَآ we forget أَوْ or أَخْطَأْنَا ۚ we err رَبَّنَا Our Lord وَلَا And (do) not تَحْمِلْ lay عَلَيْنَآ upon us إِصْرًۭا a burden كَمَا like that حَمَلْتَهُۥ (which) You laid [it] عَلَى on ٱلَّذِينَ those who مِن (were) from قَبْلِنَا ۚ before us رَبَّنَا Our Lord وَلَا [And] (do) not تُحَمِّلْنَا lay on us مَا what لَا not طَاقَةَ (the) strength لَنَا we have بِهِۦ ۖ [of it] (to bear) وَٱعْفُ And pardon عَنَّا [from] us وَٱغْفِرْ and forgive لَنَا [for] us وَٱرْحَمْنَآ ۚ and have mercy on us أَنتَ You (are) مَوْلَىٰنَا our Protector فَٱنصُرْنَا so help us عَلَى against ٱلْقَوْمِ the people ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ [the] disbelievers ٢٨٦
