وَمَآ And whatever أُوتِيتُم you have been given مِّن from شَىْءٍۢ things فَمَتَـٰعُ (is) an enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of the) life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world وَزِينَتُهَا ۚ and its adornment وَمَا And what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌۭ (is) better وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ۚ and more lasting أَفَلَا So (will) not تَعْقِلُونَ you use intellect ٦٠

أَفَمَن Then is (he) whom وَعَدْنَـٰهُ We have promised him وَعْدًا a promise حَسَنًۭا good فَهُوَ and he لَـٰقِيهِ (will) meet it كَمَن like (the one) whom مَّتَّعْنَـٰهُ We provided him مَتَـٰعَ enjoyment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ (of the) life ٱلدُّنْيَا (of) the world ثُمَّ then هُوَ he يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ (of) the Resurrection مِنَ (will be) among ٱلْمُحْضَرِينَ those presented ٦١

وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day يُنَادِيهِمْ He will call them فَيَقُولُ and say أَيْنَ Where شُرَكَآءِىَ (are) My partners ٱلَّذِينَ whom كُنتُمْ you used (to) تَزْعُمُونَ claim ٦٢

قَالَ (Will) say ٱلَّذِينَ those حَقَّ (has) come true عَلَيْهِمُ against whom ٱلْقَوْلُ the Word رَبَّنَا Our Lord هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ These ٱلَّذِينَ (are) those whom أَغْوَيْنَآ we led astray أَغْوَيْنَـٰهُمْ We led them astray كَمَا as غَوَيْنَا ۖ we were astray تَبَرَّأْنَآ We declare our innocence إِلَيْكَ ۖ before You مَا Not كَانُوٓا۟ they used (to) إِيَّانَا worship us يَعْبُدُونَ worship us ٦٣

وَقِيلَ And it will be said ٱدْعُوا۟ Call شُرَكَآءَكُمْ your partners فَدَعَوْهُمْ And they will call them فَلَمْ but not يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ they will respond لَهُمْ to them وَرَأَوُا۟ and they will see ٱلْعَذَابَ ۚ the punishment لَوْ If only أَنَّهُمْ [that] they كَانُوا۟ had been يَهْتَدُونَ guided ٦٤

وَيَوْمَ And (the) Day يُنَادِيهِمْ He will call them فَيَقُولُ and say مَاذَآ What أَجَبْتُمُ did you answer ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers ٦٥

فَعَمِيَتْ But (will) be obscure عَلَيْهِمُ to them ٱلْأَنۢبَآءُ the information يَوْمَئِذٍۢ that day فَهُمْ so they لَا will not ask one another يَتَسَآءَلُونَ will not ask one another ٦٦

فَأَمَّا But as for مَن (him) who تَابَ repented وَءَامَنَ and believed وَعَمِلَ and did صَـٰلِحًۭا righteousness فَعَسَىٰٓ then perhaps أَن [that] يَكُونَ he will be مِنَ of ٱلْمُفْلِحِينَ the successful ones ٦٧

وَرَبُّكَ And your Lord يَخْلُقُ creates مَا what يَشَآءُ He wills وَيَخْتَارُ ۗ and chooses مَا Not كَانَ they have لَهُمُ for them ٱلْخِيَرَةُ ۚ the choice سُبْحَـٰنَ Glory be ٱللَّهِ (to) Allah وَتَعَـٰلَىٰ and High is He عَمَّا above what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him) ٦٨

وَرَبُّكَ And your Lord يَعْلَمُ knows مَا what تُكِنُّ conceals صُدُورُهُمْ their breasts وَمَا and what يُعْلِنُونَ they declare ٦٩

وَهُوَ And He ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah لَآ (there is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ ۖ He لَهُ To Him ٱلْحَمْدُ (are due) all praises فِى in ٱلْأُولَىٰ the first وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ ۖ and the last وَلَهُ And for Him ٱلْحُكْمُ (is) the Decision وَإِلَيْهِ and to Him تُرْجَعُونَ you will be returned ٧٠
