وَإِلَىٰ And to ثَمُودَ Thamud أَخَاهُمْ (We sent) their brother صَـٰلِحًۭا ۗ Salih قَالَ He said يَـٰقَوْمِ O my people ٱعْبُدُوا۟ Worship ٱللَّهَ Allah مَا not لَكُم for you مِّنْ any إِلَـٰهٍ god غَيْرُهُۥ ۖ other than Him قَدْ Verily جَآءَتْكُم has come to you بَيِّنَةٌۭ a clear proof مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ your Lord هَـٰذِهِۦ This نَاقَةُ (is) a she-camel ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah لَكُمْ (it is) for you ءَايَةًۭ ۖ a Sign فَذَرُوهَا So you leave her تَأْكُلْ (to) eat فِىٓ on أَرْضِ (the) earth ٱللَّهِ ۖ (of) Allah وَلَا and (do) not تَمَسُّوهَا touch her بِسُوٓءٍۢ with harm فَيَأْخُذَكُمْ lest seizes you عَذَابٌ a punishment أَلِيمٌۭ painful ٧٣
And to the Thamūd [We sent] their brother Ṣāliḥ. He said, "O my people, worship Allāh; you have no deity other than Him. There has come to you clear evidence from your Lord. This is the she-camel of Allāh [sent] to you as a sign. So leave her to eat within Allāh's land and do not touch her with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
