يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O ٱلَّذِينَ you (who) ءَامَنُوا۟ believe ٱتَّقُوا۟ Fear ٱللَّهَ Allah وَلْتَنظُرْ and let look نَفْسٌۭ every soul مَّا what قَدَّمَتْ it has sent forth لِغَدٍۢ ۖ for tomorrow وَٱتَّقُوا۟ and fear ٱللَّهَ ۚ Allah إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah خَبِيرٌۢ (is) All-Aware بِمَا of what تَعْمَلُونَ you do ١٨
O you who have believed, fear Allāh. And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow - and fear Allāh. Indeed, Allāh is Aware of what you do.
— Come To Light
وَلَا And (do) not تَكُونُوا۟ be كَٱلَّذِينَ like those who نَسُوا۟ forgot ٱللَّهَ Allah فَأَنسَىٰهُمْ so He made them forget أَنفُسَهُمْ ۚ themselves أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those هُمُ [they] ٱلْفَـٰسِقُونَ (are) the defiantly disobedient ١٩
And be not like those who forgot Allāh, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.
— Come To Light
لَا Not يَسْتَوِىٓ equal أَصْحَـٰبُ (are the) companions ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire وَأَصْحَـٰبُ and (the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ (of) Paradise أَصْحَـٰبُ (The) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ (of) Paradise هُمُ they ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ (are) the achievers ٢٠
Not equal are the companions of the Fire and the companions of Paradise. The companions of Paradise - they are the attainers [of success].
— Come To Light
لَوْ If أَنزَلْنَا We (had) sent down هَـٰذَا this ٱلْقُرْءَانَ Quran عَلَىٰ on جَبَلٍۢ a mountain لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ surely you (would) have seen it خَـٰشِعًۭا humbled مُّتَصَدِّعًۭا breaking asunder مِّنْ from خَشْيَةِ (the) fear ٱللَّهِ ۚ (of) Allah وَتِلْكَ And these ٱلْأَمْثَـٰلُ examples نَضْرِبُهَا We present them لِلنَّاسِ to the people لَعَلَّهُمْ so that they may يَتَفَكَّرُونَ give thought ٢١
If We had sent down this Qur’ān upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and splitting from fear of Allāh. And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought.
— Come To Light
هُوَ He ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلَّذِى the One Who لَآ (there is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ ۖ He عَـٰلِمُ (the) All-Knower ٱلْغَيْبِ (of) the unseen وَٱلشَّهَـٰدَةِ ۖ and the witnessed هُوَ He ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ (is) the Most Gracious ٱلرَّحِيمُ the Most Merciful ٢٢
He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
— Come To Light
هُوَ He ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلَّذِى the One Who لَآ (there is) no إِلَـٰهَ god إِلَّا but هُوَ He ٱلْمَلِكُ the Sovereign ٱلْقُدُّوسُ the Holy One ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ the Giver of Peace ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ the Giver of Security ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ the Guardian ٱلْعَزِيزُ the All-Mighty ٱلْجَبَّارُ the Irresistible ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ the Supreme سُبْحَـٰنَ Glory (be to) ٱللَّهِ Allah عَمَّا from what يُشْرِكُونَ they associate (with Him) ٢٣
He is Allāh, other than whom there is no deity, the Sovereign, the Pure, the Perfection, the Grantor of Security, the Overseer, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Superior. Exalted is Allāh above whatever they associate with Him.
— Come To Light
هُوَ He ٱللَّهُ (is) Allah ٱلْخَـٰلِقُ the Creator ٱلْبَارِئُ the Inventor ٱلْمُصَوِّرُ ۖ the Fashioner لَهُ For Him ٱلْأَسْمَآءُ (are) the names ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ the beautiful يُسَبِّحُ Glorifies لَهُۥ Him مَا whatever فِى (is) in ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۖ and the earth وَهُوَ And He ٱلْعَزِيزُ (is) the All-Mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُ the All-Wise ٢٤
He is Allāh, the Creator, the Producer, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
