فَٱسْتَخَفَّ So he bluffed قَوْمَهُۥ his people فَأَطَاعُوهُ ۚ and they obeyed him إِنَّهُمْ Indeed, they كَانُوا۟ were قَوْمًۭا a people فَـٰسِقِينَ defiantly disobedient ٥٤
So he bluffed his people, and they obeyed him. Indeed, they were [themselves] a people defiantly disobedient [of Allāh].
