وَلَقَدْ And verily سَبَقَتْ has preceded كَلِمَتُنَا Our Word لِعِبَادِنَا for Our slaves ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ the Messengers ١٧١
And Our word [i.e., decree] has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
— Come To Light
إِنَّهُمْ Indeed they لَهُمُ surely they ٱلْمَنصُورُونَ (would be) the victorious ١٧٢
[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
— Come To Light
وَإِنَّ And indeed جُندَنَا Our host لَهُمُ surely, they ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ (will be) those who overcome ١٧٣
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers [i.e., the believers] will be those who overcome.
— Come To Light
فَتَوَلَّ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them حَتَّىٰ until حِينٍۢ a time ١٧٤
So, [O Muḥammad], leave them for a time.
— Come To Light
وَأَبْصِرْهُمْ And see them فَسَوْفَ so soon يُبْصِرُونَ they will see ١٧٥
And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.
— Come To Light
أَفَبِعَذَابِنَا Then is (it) for Our punishment يَسْتَعْجِلُونَ they hasten ١٧٦
Then for Our punishment are they impatient?
— Come To Light
فَإِذَا But when نَزَلَ it descends بِسَاحَتِهِمْ in their territory فَسَآءَ then evil (will be) صَبَاحُ (the) morning ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ (for) those who were warned ١٧٧
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
— Come To Light
وَتَوَلَّ So turn away عَنْهُمْ from them حَتَّىٰ for حِينٍۢ a time ١٧٨
And leave them for a time.
— Come To Light
وَأَبْصِرْ And see فَسَوْفَ so soon يُبْصِرُونَ they will see ١٧٩
And see, for they are going to see.
— Come To Light
