۞ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you who believe ٱلَّذِينَ O you who believe ءَامَنُوا۟ O you who believe لَا (Do) not تَتَّبِعُوا۟ follow خُطُوَٰتِ (the) footsteps ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ ۚ (of) the Shaitaan وَمَن and whoever يَتَّبِعْ follows خُطُوَٰتِ (the) footsteps ٱلشَّيْطَـٰنِ (of) the Shaitaan فَإِنَّهُۥ then indeed, he يَأْمُرُ commands بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ the immorality وَٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ and the evil وَلَوْلَا And if not فَضْلُ (for the) Grace of Allah ٱللَّهِ (for the) Grace of Allah عَلَيْكُمْ upon you وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ and His Mercy مَا not زَكَىٰ (would) have been pure مِنكُم among you مِّنْ anyone أَحَدٍ anyone أَبَدًۭا ever وَلَـٰكِنَّ but ٱللَّهَ Allah يُزَكِّى purifies مَن whom يَشَآءُ ۗ He wills وَٱللَّهُ And Allah سَمِيعٌ (is) All-Hearer عَلِيمٌۭ All-Knower ٢١
O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing. And if not for the favor of Allāh upon you and His mercy, not one of you would have been pure, ever, but Allāh purifies whom He wills, and Allāh is Hearing and Knowing.
