وَمَا And not جَعَلْنَـٰهُمْ We made them جَسَدًۭا bodies لَّا not يَأْكُلُونَ eating ٱلطَّعَامَ the food وَمَا and not كَانُوا۟ they were خَـٰلِدِينَ immortals ٨
And We did not make them [i.e., the prophets] forms not eating food, nor were they immortal [on earth].
