بَلْ Nay قَالُوٓا۟ they say أَضْغَـٰثُ Muddled أَحْلَـٰمٍۭ dreams بَلِ nay ٱفْتَرَىٰهُ he (has) invented it بَلْ nay هُوَ he شَاعِرٌۭ (is) a poet فَلْيَأْتِنَا So let him bring us بِـَٔايَةٍۢ a sign كَمَآ like what أُرْسِلَ was sent ٱلْأَوَّلُونَ (to) the former ٥
But they say, "[The revelation is but] a mixture of false dreams; rather, he has invented it; rather, he is a poet. So let him bring us a sign just as the previous [messengers] were sent [with miracles]."
