مَّا (Do) not يَوَدُّ like ٱلَّذِينَ those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieve مِنْ from أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ (of) the Book وَلَا and not ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ those who associate partners (with Allah) أَن that يُنَزَّلَ (there should) be sent down عَلَيْكُم to you مِّنْ any خَيْرٍۢ good مِّن from رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ your Lord وَٱللَّهُ And Allah يَخْتَصُّ chooses بِرَحْمَتِهِۦ for His Mercy مَن whom يَشَآءُ ۚ He wills وَٱللَّهُ And Allah ذُو (is the) Possessor ٱلْفَضْلِ (of) [the] Bounty ٱلْعَظِيمِ [the] Great ١٠٥
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture [i.e., the Jews and Christians] nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allāh selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allāh is the possessor of great bounty.
