فَعَسَىٰ It may be رَبِّىٓ that my Lord أَن that my Lord يُؤْتِيَنِ will give me خَيْرًۭا better مِّن than جَنَّتِكَ your garden وَيُرْسِلَ and will send عَلَيْهَا upon it حُسْبَانًۭا a calamity مِّنَ from ٱلسَّمَآءِ the sky فَتُصْبِحَ then it will become صَعِيدًۭا ground زَلَقًا slippery ٤٠
It may be that my Lord will give me [something] better than your garden and will send upon it a [disastrous] penalty from the sky, and it will become a smooth, dusty ground,
