وَإِذَا And when بُشِّرَ is given good news أَحَدُهُم (to) one of them بِٱلْأُنثَىٰ of a female ظَلَّ turns وَجْهُهُۥ his face مُسْوَدًّۭا dark وَهُوَ and he كَظِيمٌۭ suppresses grief ٥٨
And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief.
