وَلَقَدْ And verily جَعَلْنَا We have placed فِى in ٱلسَّمَآءِ the heavens بُرُوجًۭا constellations وَزَيَّنَّـٰهَا and We have beautified it لِلنَّـٰظِرِينَ for the observers ١٦
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers.
— Come To Light
وَحَفِظْنَـٰهَا And We have protected it مِن from كُلِّ every شَيْطَـٰنٍۢ devil رَّجِيمٍ accursed ١٧
And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allāh]
— Come To Light
إِلَّا Except مَنِ (one) who ٱسْتَرَقَ steals ٱلسَّمْعَ the hearing فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ then follows him شِهَابٌۭ a burning flame مُّبِينٌۭ clear ١٨
Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame.
