إِنَّ Indeed فِى in خَلْقِ (the) creation ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth وَٱخْتِلَـٰفِ and (in the) alternation ٱلَّيْلِ (of) the night وَٱلنَّهَارِ and the day لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ (are) surely Signs لِّأُو۟لِى for men ٱلْأَلْبَـٰبِ (of) understanding ١٩٠
Indeed, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day are signs for those of understanding -
— Come To Light
ٱلَّذِينَ Those who يَذْكُرُونَ remember ٱللَّهَ Allah قِيَـٰمًۭا standing وَقُعُودًۭا and sitting وَعَلَىٰ and on جُنُوبِهِمْ their sides وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ and they reflect فِى on خَلْقِ (the) creation ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ (of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِ and the earth رَبَّنَا Our Lord مَا not خَلَقْتَ You have created هَـٰذَا this بَـٰطِلًۭا (in) vain سُبْحَـٰنَكَ Glory be to You فَقِنَا so save us عَذَابَ (from the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ (of) the Fire ١٩١
Who remember Allāh while standing or sitting or [lying] on their sides and give thought to the creation of the heavens and the earth, [saying], "Our Lord, You did not create this aimlessly; exalted are You [above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
— Come To Light
رَبَّنَآ Our Lord إِنَّكَ indeed [You] مَن whom تُدْخِلِ You admit ٱلنَّارَ (to) the Fire فَقَدْ then surely أَخْزَيْتَهُۥ ۖ You (have) disgraced him وَمَا and not لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ for the wrongdoers مِنْ (are) any أَنصَارٍۢ helpers ١٩٢
Our Lord, indeed whoever You admit to the Fire - You have disgraced him, and for the wrongdoers there are no helpers.
— Come To Light
رَّبَّنَآ Our Lord إِنَّنَا indeed we سَمِعْنَا [we] heard مُنَادِيًۭا a caller يُنَادِى calling لِلْإِيمَـٰنِ to the faith أَنْ that ءَامِنُوا۟ Believe بِرَبِّكُمْ in your Lord فَـَٔامَنَّا ۚ so we have believed رَبَّنَا Our Lord فَٱغْفِرْ so forgive لَنَا for us ذُنُوبَنَا our sins وَكَفِّرْ and remove عَنَّا from us سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا our evil deeds وَتَوَفَّنَا and cause us to die مَعَ with ٱلْأَبْرَارِ the righteous ١٩٣
Our Lord, indeed we have heard a caller [i.e., Prophet Muḥammad (ﷺ)] calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive us our sins and remove from us our misdeeds and cause us to die among the righteous.
— Come To Light
رَبَّنَا Our Lord وَءَاتِنَا grant us مَا what وَعَدتَّنَا You promised us عَلَىٰ through رُسُلِكَ Your Messengers وَلَا and (do) not تُخْزِنَا disgrace us يَوْمَ (on the) Day ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ ۗ (of) [the] Resurrection إِنَّكَ Indeed, You لَا (do) not تُخْلِفُ break ٱلْمِيعَادَ the promise ١٩٤
Our Lord, and grant us what You promised us through Your messengers and do not disgrace us on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, You do not fail in [Your] promise."
— Come To Light
فَٱسْتَجَابَ Then responded لَهُمْ to them رَبُّهُمْ their Lord أَنِّى Indeed, I لَآ (will) not أُضِيعُ (let go) waste عَمَلَ deeds عَـٰمِلٍۢ (of the) doer مِّنكُم among you مِّن [from] ذَكَرٍ (whether) male أَوْ or أُنثَىٰ ۖ female بَعْضُكُم each of you مِّنۢ from بَعْضٍۢ ۖ (the) other فَٱلَّذِينَ So those who هَاجَرُوا۟ emigrated وَأُخْرِجُوا۟ and were driven out مِن from دِيَـٰرِهِمْ their homes وَأُوذُوا۟ and were harmed فِى in سَبِيلِى My way وَقَـٰتَلُوا۟ and fought وَقُتِلُوا۟ and were killed لَأُكَفِّرَنَّ surely I (will) remove عَنْهُمْ from them سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ their evil deeds وَلَأُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ and surely I will admit them جَنَّـٰتٍۢ (to) Gardens تَجْرِى flowing مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers ثَوَابًۭا a reward مِّنْ from عِندِ [near] ٱللَّهِ ۗ Allah وَٱللَّهُ And Allah عِندَهُۥ with Him حُسْنُ (is the) best ٱلثَّوَابِ reward ١٩٥
And their Lord responded to them, "Never will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed - I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allāh, and Allāh has with Him the best reward."
— Come To Light
لَا (Let) not يَغُرَّنَّكَ deceive you تَقَلُّبُ (the) movement ٱلَّذِينَ (of) those who كَفَرُوا۟ disbelieved فِى in ٱلْبِلَـٰدِ the land ١٩٦
Be not deceived by the [uninhibited] movement of the disbelievers throughout the land.
— Come To Light
مَتَـٰعٌۭ An enjoyment قَلِيلٌۭ little ثُمَّ then مَأْوَىٰهُمْ their abode جَهَنَّمُ ۚ (is) hell وَبِئْسَ [and] a wretched ٱلْمِهَادُ [the] resting place ١٩٧
[It is but] a small enjoyment; then their [final] refuge is Hell, and wretched is the resting place.
— Come To Light
لَـٰكِنِ But ٱلَّذِينَ those who ٱتَّقَوْا۟ fear رَبَّهُمْ their Lord لَهُمْ for them جَنَّـٰتٌۭ (will be) Gardens تَجْرِى flows مِن from تَحْتِهَا underneath them ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ the rivers خَـٰلِدِينَ will abide forever فِيهَا in it نُزُلًۭا a hospitality مِّنْ from عِندِ [near] ٱللَّهِ ۗ Allah وَمَا And what عِندَ (is) with ٱللَّهِ Allah خَيْرٌۭ (is) best لِّلْأَبْرَارِ for the righteous ١٩٨
But those who feared their Lord will have gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding eternally therein, as accommodation from Allāh. And that which is with Allāh is best for the righteous.
— Come To Light
وَإِنَّ And indeed مِنْ among أَهْلِ (the) People ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ (of) the Book لَمَن (are those) who يُؤْمِنُ believe بِٱللَّهِ in Allah وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ was revealed إِلَيْكُمْ to you وَمَآ and what أُنزِلَ was revealed إِلَيْهِمْ to them خَـٰشِعِينَ humbly submissive لِلَّهِ to Allah لَا Not يَشْتَرُونَ (do) they exchange بِـَٔايَـٰتِ [with] (the) Verses ٱللَّهِ (of) Allah ثَمَنًۭا (for) a price قَلِيلًا ۗ little أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ Those لَهُمْ for them أَجْرُهُمْ their reward عِندَ (is) with رَبِّهِمْ ۗ their Lord إِنَّ Indeed ٱللَّهَ Allah سَرِيعُ (is) swift ٱلْحِسَابِ (in taking) the account ١٩٩
And indeed, among the People of the Scripture are those who believe in Allāh and what was revealed to you and what was revealed to them, [being] humbly submissive to Allāh. They do not exchange the verses of Allāh for a small price. Those will have their reward with their Lord. Indeed, Allāh is swift in account.
— Come To Light
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا O you ٱلَّذِينَ who ءَامَنُوا۟ believe[d] ٱصْبِرُوا۟ Be steadfast وَصَابِرُوا۟ and [be] patient وَرَابِطُوا۟ and [be] constant وَٱتَّقُوا۟ and fear ٱللَّهَ Allah لَعَلَّكُمْ so that you may تُفْلِحُونَ (be) successful ٢٠٠
O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allāh that you may be successful.
